Has worked in Life Science for 22 years. She has held various positions in both the big pharma and the CRO industry. Chose 2009 to leave big pharma to develop further in Life Science and then switched to CRO (Clinical Research Organization). Has worked actively with board work since 2014 when also attending the Board Academy’s education. Performed UGL 2017.
Johanna Andlin
CRO, Medicorent Int. AB – Director of Clinical Operations Pharmacist basically. Worked in life science and clinical trials for over 20 years, held various roles both in large global pharmaceutical companies and smaller consulting companies. Has been head of department at Clinical Operations and also vice president of a staff-owned CRO company. Board member for five years. Has worked with various therapeutic areas, including asthma and allergies, diabetes, oncology and cardiovascular diseases in Sweden and with Nordic responsibility.
Dr. Luis Gosálbez
Luis is the Managing Director and Co-Founder at Sandwalk BioVentures, a specialty strategy and innovation firm focused on microbiome technologies. Previously, he held different senior management positions in private and public companies in the biotechnology industry in the UK, Germany and Spain. He received his BSc and MSc in Biotechnology from Universidad Complutense de Madrid, his PhD in Biology from the Catholic University of San Antonio and a Master’s in Bioscience Enterprise from the University of Cambridge.

Janne Björkander
Janne graduated as a doctor in 1974 in Gothenburg and AT in Lund. Worked at Sahlgrenska Hospital 1976 – 2006, first as an ST doctor and then in 1985 as a chief physician with a special focus on immunodeficiency. Med. Dr. in internal medicine 1985 and doc 1989. Since 2003 served as chief physician in allergic diseases at Ryhov County Hospital and adjunct professor of allergic diseases 2005 – 2013 and 2013 – 2018 appointed as senior professor at Linköping University.
Since graduating as a doctor, Janne has worked clinically with allergies and immune deficiency diseases to equal parts. The research initially focused on the diagnosis, investigation and treatment of various immunoglobulin deficiencies. In the dissertation “Antibody Deficiency Syndromes”, all patients with common variable immunodeficiency in Sweden were inventoried and through this work, the patients in Sweden received more uniform treatment. Janne has since continued to seek to standardize diagnostics, investigation and treatment for various immune deficiency diseases as initiator and chairman of the Swedish Physicians’ Association for Primary Immune Deficiency 1999 – 2015. He also developed guidelines for treatment of various immune deficiencies and establishment of a quality register for primary immune deficiencies. in collaboration with colleagues from all over the country within this organization.
Since 2012, interest in allergy mechanisms has taken up much of the research time, as has the opportunity to simplify treatment, for example with intralymphatic immunotherapy. This interest has also led to several published articles and several dissertations. Janne has actively participated in 4 completed and 2 ongoing dissertations. In addition to this, Janne has participated in over 20 published scientific articles concerning allergies.
